Senior Test Tooling Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a passionate Senior Test Tooling Engineer, this full-time remote position will drive the evolution of CI/CD infrastructure, automate the release process, and lead the development of comprehensive testing and benchmarking systems to ensure high-quality product performance across TimescaleDB and related products.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and evolve CI/CD infrastructure utilizing GitHub Actions
• Own the end-to-end release process, focusing on automation for seamless releases
• Design and implement stress testing infrastructure and maintain comprehensive testing systems

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Release Engineer, QA Lead, or similar role with end-to-end release process ownership
• Deep expertise in modern CI/CD practices and tools, especially GitHub Actions
• Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, and infrastructure
• Hands-on experience running PostgreSQL in production environments
