Senior Thermal Hydraulics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Thermal Hydraulics.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with test engineering and CFD modeling teams to design and conduct experiments for CFD model validation
• Process and analyze raw experimental data, extracting key metrics for model comparison
• Develop and implement custom software tools for standardizing and controlling project datasets

Required Qualifications and Education

• PhD in Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering with 3-5 years of related experience, or MS degree with 6-8 years, or BS degree with 10-15 years of related experience
• Experience implementing experimental methods in thermal-fluid systems and model validation
• Proficiency with MathCAD or equivalent tools such as MATLAB or Python
• Experience with Conjugate Heat Transfer tools and methods, including STARCCM+ or ANSYS CFX/Fluent
• Experience with high temperature thermal-fluid systems is desired
