Senior Threat Detection Engineer

Job Summary

As a fully remote Senior Threat Detection Engineer, the candidate will lead technical projects to establish a detection-as-code workflow, design AI/ML pipelines for investigation and triage, and build automation for high-volume alerts while ensuring high-quality detection engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and build AI/ML pipelines to enhance detection and response capabilities
• Design and own the detection-as-code pipeline, ensuring version control and quality standards
• Lead technical projects, driving execution and accountability for delivery outcomes

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience in detection engineering across SIEM and EDR/XDR platforms
• Proficiency in KQL, SQL, Sigma, and strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Go)
• Experience designing and implementing AI/ML pipelines for security applications
• Ability to map detections to adversary behavior using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK
• Demonstrated leadership in technical project delivery and quality assurance
