Senior Threat Researcher

Job Summary

To address the growing challenges of AI misuse in cybercrime, the full-time Senior Threat Researcher will track and research offensive applications of AI in the cybercrime ecosystem, presenting findings to customers and industry groups while working remotely from the USA or Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Track AI misuse in cybercrime using extensive intelligence archives and serve as the primary expert for customer inquiries
• Identify emerging threats and develop briefings, research, and presentations on AI-enabled cybercrime
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to advise customers on AI-related threats and represent the company at industry events

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in law enforcement, intelligence, or security roles
• Hands-on technical expertise in the cybercrime ecosystem, including knowledge of malware and underground markets
• Demonstrated track record of original research and public presentations
• Experience in threat intelligence from a cybersecurity vendor or government agency
• Adept at navigating structured processes while thriving in a startup environment
