Senior Trade Compliance Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to support its trade compliance program.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on foreign and domestic trade compliance, including sanctions and free trade agreements
• Manage Restricted Party Screening, authorizations, licensing, and jurisdiction/classification activities for products and services
• Identify training gaps and develop training on trade compliance matters while maintaining relationships with U.S. government entities

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business or related field
• At least 8 years of experience in U.S. trade compliance or a related area
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
• Strong knowledge of U.S. export control laws and regulations
• Demonstrated experience interacting with government agencies in a trade compliance context
