Job Summary
Leading global import/export compliance processes, the full-time Senior Trade Compliance Specialist will ensure adherence to trade laws and regulations for U.S. and Canadian shipments while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and oversee global import/export compliance processes, ensuring adherence to customs regulations and trade laws
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, product development, and logistics teams to integrate compliance across product and order lifecycles
- Maintain recordkeeping systems, facilitate Free Trade Agreement documentation, and monitor regulatory changes impacting trade obligations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Legal Studies, or a related field
- 5 - 8 years of progressive experience in global trade compliance or customs operations
- Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of U.S. and Canadian trade regulations
- Experience with trade automation tools and certifications such as CCS, CES, or CTCS are considered assets
- A U.S. Customs Broker License is preferred but not required
