Senior Trader, Public Credit
Job Summary
Executing trades in public credit asset classes, the full-time Senior Trader, Public Credit will focus on Investment Grade and High Yield Corporate Credit while collaborating with Credit Portfolio Managers and analysts in a hybrid work environment based in Stamford, Connecticut.
Key responsibilities
- Execute primary and secondary market trades across assigned public credit asset classes
- Translate portfolio strategy into actionable trade recommendations, advising on market levels, timing, and liquidity
- Provide market insights by monitoring macroeconomic trends and maintaining dealer relationships
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a trading role, preferably in asset management
- Strong bond valuation framework expertise
- Ability to build relationships with internal partners and influence investment decisions
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office applications
