Senior Trading Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and deeply technical Senior Trading Engineer, this full-time remote position will focus on architecting and building new features in an event-driven microservices environment, developing microservices in Golang, and responding to production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of software within a microservices architecture
• Develop and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading systems using Golang
• Collaborate with platform engineers to set up new services and address production alerts

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in the FinTech sector
• Deep proficiency in Golang and understanding of SQL and database schema design
• Solid grasp of market structure, order types, and the trade lifecycle
• Experience in developing and maintaining high-performance trading systems
• A resourceful mindset with the ability to tackle complex problems independently
