Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Transfer Coordinator to manage patient movement across acute care facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient movement and bed assignments across multiple hospitals and clinics
• Manage daily throughput and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient patient transfers
• Gather and verify patient information to facilitate accurate bed placements and resolve any discrepancies

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge
• Two to four years of experience in a healthcare office or hospital operations setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology through education or experience
• Proficiency in commonly used office software and hospital EMR systems
• Ability to work under tight time constraints and manage multiple priorities
