Senior Transit Planner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Transit Planner to join their team in New York City or the Northeast.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary teams on various transit planning projects
• Manage project budgets and schedules while developing client relationships
• Identify new business opportunities and support business development efforts

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in transportation planning, including 2 years managing projects
• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, transportation engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Experience in transit service development, bus network redesigns, or related areas
• AICP or PE certification is desirable but not required
• Proficiency in data interpretation using spreadsheets and familiarity with relevant software
