Senior Transit Planner

Job Summary

Senior Transit Planner is a full-time position focused on managing transit planning projects, developing staff, and creating business opportunities in the New York City and greater Northeast market.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interdisciplinary teams on various transit planning projects
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and client relationships while identifying new business opportunities
• Develop and implement internal processes to improve work products and author thought leadership materials

Required Qualifications

• 7-10 years of experience in the transportation planning field, including two years managing planning projects
• Bachelor's degree in urban planning, transportation engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
• Experience with transit service development, bus network redesigns, and BRT planning
• AICP or PE certification is desirable but not required
• Proficiency in data analysis and experience managing transit planning projects for public agencies
