Senior Transmission Line Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Transmission Line Designer 1 - Grid.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop transmission line plans, profile drawings, hardware details, and material lists
• Create master sketches to scale and interpret engineering specifications for design projects
• Assist project team members in gathering information at client facilities and interface with vendors and contractors

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in drafting or equivalent technical experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• 10 or more years of experience in design/drafting of Transmission Lines
• Knowledge of design techniques and engineering science applications
• Ability to visualize parts in 3D and manage multiple projects
