Senior Transmission Line Engineer, PE
Job Summary
To support the Transmission Line team, the full-time Senior Transmission Line Engineer, PE will design High Voltage (69kV-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD software while working remotely and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver project design criteria and construction documents.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate collaboration between disciplines and project team members while acting as the client contact to determine project scope
- Develop construction documents including project design criteria, plan and profile drawings, and construction specifications
- Coordinate design aspects, estimate construction costs, and specify materials for high voltage transmission line projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited school
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience, with at least 8 years in Transmission Line Engineering or related fields
- Current PE license is required
- Proficiency in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE preferred
- Experience working with or for a Utility is highly preferred
