Senior Transmission Planner
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Transmission Planner - Senior Professional (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
- Execute various transmission planning studies including network expansion and system impact studies
- Support business development and project proposals
- Mentor junior engineers and ensure technical reports effectively communicate findings and recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in power generation, transmission, and distribution
- Engineer in Training Certification
- Experience with power system software such as PSSE, PSLF, and/or PSCAD
- Strong knowledge of engineering laws, codes, and compliance practices
