Senior Transportation Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Transportation Analyst to manage transportation budgets and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and validation of annual transportation budgets and perform variance reporting
• Oversee the accuracy of data in the Transportation Management System and ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Prepare and present transportation metrics and provide training on transportation procedures to new hires

Required Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or related discipline; MBA preferred
• Five years of experience in a transportation or logistics role in a retail environment
• Strong knowledge of Transportation import/export processes and D.O.T. requirements
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and freight payable systems
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and Access, with strong analytical abilities
