Senior Transportation Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Transportation Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and validation of annual transportation budgets, including variance reporting and future projections
• Ensure accurate operation of the Transportation Management System (TMS) and compliance with financial regulations
• Prepare and present transportation metrics and reports to senior management and oversee training for new hires

Required Qualifications

• B.S./B.A. in Business, Logistics, Transportation, or related field; MBA preferred
• Five years of experience in a transportation or logistics role in a retail environment
• Strong knowledge of transportation import/export processes and D.O.T. requirements
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and advanced skills in MS Excel and Access
• Strong analytical skills and interpersonal communication abilities
