Senior Travel and Expense Analyst

Job Summary

Focused on driving systemic efficiency and continuous improvement, the remote Senior Travel and Expense Analyst will manage complex reconciliation processes, champion automation initiatives, and enhance financial operations across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain operational alignment and drive continuous process enhancements through comprehensive documentation
• Quantify time and effort savings to justify automation pilots while addressing workflow gaps and monitoring industry trends
• Manage and optimize month-end reconciliation processes for corporate travel card programs, ensuring compliance and accuracy

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Travel & Expense data analytics, reporting, and corporate card reconciliation
• Proven experience with process re-engineering and systemic friction reduction
• Proficiency in SQL, MS Excel (pivot tables, macros), and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with data automation tools such as Alteryx
• Strong background in process mapping and optimization techniques
