Senior Travel Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Travel Underwriter for a 9-month fixed term contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the travel insurance portfolio, ensuring profitability and growth objectives are met
• Support the development and monitoring of policy wordings, underwriting rules, and guidelines
• Analyze data to make informed underwriting decisions and provide forecasting to internal and carrier partners

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of insurance and underwriting experience, preferably in Accident & Health or travel
• Experience managing underwriting and reinsurance referrals
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of developing profitable business
• Experience within the Lloyd's underwriting environment, preferably with delegated authorities
• Independent mindset capable of managing portfolio responsibilities with minimal supervision
