Senior UI Tester

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior UI Tester, the candidate will focus on web application testing with a strong emphasis on UI validation, utilizing Selenium and transitioning to Playwright, while working onsite in Chicago two days a week after a remote contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct UI validation and support back-end testing to ensure data integrity across applications
• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks, primarily using Selenium and transitioning to Playwright
• Execute integration, regression, and usability testing, while collaborating with development teams for issue resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• At least 8 years of professional experience in test strategy, design, and execution
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium for automated testing and SQL for database querying
• Experience with API testing and basic knowledge of back-end validation
• Familiarity with Jira, ALM, and TFS/ADO for project management and tracking
