Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, price, and propose rate and strategy on Stop-Loss prospects
• Investigate case-level information to properly assess risk and provide client-centric solutions
• Manage the sold case process including review of required paperwork, case contingencies, and final risk assessment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of Stop-Loss underwriting experience or 7+ years of other medical underwriting experience
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong math, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Continuous improvement mindset
