A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter to co-lead new business underwriting for small group level-funded products.

Key Responsibilities

• Co-lead underwriting operations for new business in the small group segment
• Evaluate employer group risk and determine appropriate pricing for level-funded plans
• Collaborate with Sales to create competitive proposals while maintaining profitability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of underwriting experience, preferably in small groups or level-funded products
• Strong understanding of health insurance pricing and risk assessment
• Experience in a fast-evolving startup environment
• Familiarity with underwriting automation tools or systems
• Strong data analysis skills (Excel, SQL, Looker, etc.)
