Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter (12 Month FTC).

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex annuity risks in line with underwriting philosophy
• Manage casework loads to meet service standards for quality and turnaround
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while staying updated on industry trends

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in direct office or reinsurance underwriting, preferably with annuities
• Solid knowledge of medical terminology, insurance contract law, and basic accounting principles
• Ability to read and comprehend a large volume of medical information efficiently
• Self-motivated, flexible, and creative with a strong client focus
• Proven time management and organizational skills
