Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite and clear conditions for Agency and Non-Agency loans
Analyze risk for initial credit decisions based on various guidelines
Communicate errors and missing information to processors and issue final approvals

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
SAR and/or DE certification preferred
Minimum 5 years of mortgage underwriter experience preferred
Working knowledge of mortgage banking software and underwriting processes
Experience with USDA and Bond programs is a plus
