Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

Review loan submissions and generate initial credit decisions based on various guidelines
Evaluate mortgage loan applications for eligibility and compliance with regulations
Perform credit and property analysis, including income calculations from tax returns

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
Five or more years of mortgage underwriting experience
Current experience underwriting VA mortgage loans
Direct Endorsement (DE) and/or LAPP/SAR certifications
Government underwriting experience, including knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, and VA requirements
