Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter to evaluate and manage risk exposure for large merchant accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credit and underwriting process for large, complex merchant accounts
• Evaluate merchant risk exposure through financial analysis and compliance with Card Brand underwriting rules
• Prepare detailed credit packages and negotiate approval structures to balance risk and revenue growth

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 year College Degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Bank lending experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Industry knowledge related to underwriting and risk management
• Experience in training and mentoring junior staff
