Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Underwriter on the construction team.

Key Responsibilities

Underwrite and analyze surplus and commercial lines policies, evaluating new and renewal business transactions
Provide exceptional service while adhering to departmental procedures and workflows
Collaborate with referral underwriters and BDMs to manage accounts and monitor trends

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5+ years of underwriting experience
Solid knowledge of personal lines underwriting and insurance industry practices
Strong understanding of PRS personal lines pricing strategies and insurance contracts
Knowledge of surplus lines is helpful
