Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter to support pricing and underwriting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide final peer review of proposals for accuracy before release
• Manage workflow between Sales and Underwriting to ensure timely proposal delivery
• Calculate rates for new business and renewals based on group analysis

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 1 to 3 years of health underwriting experience preferred
• Knowledge of SQL queries is a plus
• Experience with Excel or Google Sheets
• Background in insurance industry, data analysis, or data management is advantageous
