Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates utilization and financial experience of customers, focusing on complex cases in the Health Plan marketplace
• Researches and applies advanced pricing strategies in the PBM industry while providing underwriting services
• Consults with various departments and prepares materials for presentation to Senior Leadership

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience; HS diploma or GED required
• 7 years of related work experience in Finance or Accounting, including 3 years in the PBM industry
• In-depth knowledge of mathematical applications used in underwriting
• Ability to present information effectively to Senior and Executive Leadership
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
