Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter to evaluate and manage risk exposure for large merchant accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end credit and underwriting process for complex merchant accounts
• Evaluate merchant risk exposure through financial analysis and compliance with underwriting rules
• Prepare detailed credit packages and negotiate risk-mitigation structures with merchants

Required Qualifications

• 2-4 year college degree with 5+ years of relevant work experience
• Bank lending experience is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Industry knowledge related to underwriting and risk assessment
• Experience in managing and mentoring junior staff
