Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriter to support growth and profitability by underwriting complex homeowners risks and managing agent relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite complex new and renewal business for a book roll portfolio
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and refine underwriting guidelines
• Mentor junior underwriters and participate in agent training sessions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of personal lines homeowners or property underwriting experience
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proven success in production-based underwriting and portfolio growth
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Experience with straight-through processing (STP) and automated underwriting environments
