Senior Underwriter

Job Summary

Joining a growing team, the full-time Senior Underwriter will manage the production, underwriting, and profitability of a book of business while working remotely to meet annual targets and build strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee production and underwriting of new business and renewals to meet profitability targets
• Review new business submissions and analyze loss runs to determine risk qualification and pricing
• Assist in training new underwriting team members and participate in business development efforts

Required qualifications:

• 2 or more years of experience underwriting public entities insurance
• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent education preferred
• CPCU or ARM designation is a plus
• Experience with public entity and municipality insurance is advantageous
• Flexibility for 0%-20% business travel
