Senior Underwriter
Job Summary
Joining a growth-oriented team, the full-time Senior Underwriter will remotely manage the production, underwriting, and profitability of a book of business, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and fostering strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee production and profitability of new business and renewals, meeting annual targets
- Review new business submissions for risk qualification and appropriate pricing
- Assist in training new underwriting team members and participate in new business development initiatives
Required qualifications
- 2 or more years of experience underwriting public entities insurance
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent education preferred
- CPCU or ARM designation is a plus
- Experience with Public Entity and Municipality insurance is advantageous
- Flexibility for 0%-20% business travel
