Senior Underwriter - Accident & Health

Job Summary

To expand the Accident & Health account, the full-time Senior Underwriter - Accident & Health will review complex insurance applications, evaluate risks, and cultivate relationships with brokers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Utilize multiple databases to gather and verify data for submissions, ensuring accurate policy pricing
• Provide recommendations to clients on insurance applications to mitigate excessive risk exposure
• Collaborate with the underwriting team to efficiently finalize insurance applications and achieve production goals

Required qualifications

• ACII Qualified or progressing towards it
• 5-7 years of underwriting or related insurance experience
• Strong customer service experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn industry-specific software quickly
• Existing relationships with Producing Brokers
