Senior Underwriter Analyst

Job Summary

To support the growth of the Risk department, the full-time Senior Underwriter Analyst will participate in developing credit strategies, analyze exposures, and maintain performance tracking, all while working in a remote-eligible environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in the development and maintenance of credit strategies, processes, and procedures
• Analyze and underwrite exposures based on fundamental analysis and predictive models
• Establish and maintain effective performance tracking to ensure strategies and forecasts are performing as expected

Required qualifications

• 5 years of experience rating and/or underwriting at a leading financial institution or rating agency
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, or statistics (graduate degree a plus)
• Experience as a credit analyst or underwriter dealing with commercial exposures
• Understanding of fundamental financial analysis and GAAP/IFRS accounting standards
• Familiarity with quantitative credit models and current macroeconomic trends
