Job Summary

Evaluating and structuring credit opportunities for manufactured housing communities, the full-time Senior Underwriter - California will lead complex underwriting assignments, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with various teams while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the underwriting and credit analysis of MHC lending opportunities, including acquisitions and refinances
• Analyze borrower financial statements and assess overall creditworthiness and transaction risks
• Prepare comprehensive underwriting memoranda and present recommendations to senior management and Credit Committee

Required qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of commercial real estate underwriting experience
• At least 3 years of experience underwriting Manufactured Housing Communities or similar asset classes
• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of market trends and operational performance metrics specific to the manufactured housing sector
• Proficiency in financial software and tools, including LOS and risk-scoring tools
