Senior Underwriter, Commercial Habitational

Job Summary

Driving new business for commercial habitational products, the full-time Senior Underwriter, Commercial Habitational will underwrite and produce new accounts, monitor market trends, and collaborate with brokers in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Underwrite and produce new habitational accounts, ensuring appropriate risk selection and pricing
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity to maintain a leading market position
• Visit brokers and collaborate with key agencies to drive new business production

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Commercial Property underwriting experience within an insurance carrier, MGA, or agency/brokerage
• E&S commercial property underwriting experience preferred
• Proven ability to work effectively across multiple systems and digital platforms
• Ability to travel approximately 1-2 times per quarter for meetings and visits
