Senior Underwriter - Health Plan

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Underwriter - Health Plan will achieve profit and growth objectives through financial analysis and pricing, while serving as an expert consultant on underwriting and performance guarantees.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluates complex customer utilization and financial experiences to inform pricing strategies
• Performs claims re-pricing analyses on complex external claims data
• Collaborates with Sales, Marketing, and Client Engagement to support client presentations and negotiations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• In-depth knowledge of mathematical applications used in underwriting
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
