Senior Underwriter - Non-QM & Jumbo

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Underwriter - Non-QM & Jumbo.

Key Responsibilities

• Render approval or denial of mortgage loan applications in accordance with regulations and guidelines
• Analyze and evaluate borrowers' creditworthiness through financial documentation
• Review and recommend approvals or denials for Jumbo and Non-QM loans, while maintaining knowledge of regulatory changes

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Sr. Underwriter
• 1+ year of experience with Non-QM and/or Jumbo loans
• Knowledge of current regulations governing mortgage lending
• Familiarity with investor and agency guidelines
• Experience with Encompass preferred
