Senior Underwriter with P and C License

Job Summary

Acting as a senior-level expert, the full-time Senior Underwriter with P&C License will manage underwriting tasks, support interdepartmental collaboration, and provide coaching and training to team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily underwriting output and ensure quality deliverables while supporting the Leadership Team
• Act as a liaison with other departments, managing operational tasks and documenting processes
• Design and oversee onboarding and training programs for new and existing team members

Required qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5 years of property and casualty commercial underwriting experience preferred
• Advanced knowledge of underwriting, pricing, and risk selection
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and basic skills in G-Suite
• CPCU, ARM, or Agent's P&C License preferred
