Job Summary
Supporting the Director of Underwriting Strategy, the full-time remote Senior Underwriting Strategy Analyst will drive portfolio performance, optimize underwriting processes, and advance strategic initiatives through analytics and cross-functional leadership.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute underwriting strategies aligned with growth, profitability, and risk appetite goals
- Conduct advanced data analysis to identify drivers of loss and profitability, providing actionable insights for underwriting leadership

Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in underwriting, underwriting strategy, or analytics within the insurance sector
- Strong understanding of underwriting principles and pricing dynamics
- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies
