Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Underwriting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure effective risk selection of cases reviewed and provide consultative services
• Mentor subordinates and present effectively to agent and underwriting groups
• Continuously seek process improvements and act as a change agent within the team

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
• Minimum of 8 years of life or health underwriting experience
• Proficiency in AWD or similar systems, MS Office, and risk assessment
• Strong financial analytical skills
• Ability to evaluate cases with approval authority up to $10,000,000
