A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Consultant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and select risk for profitable acquisition and retention of cases
• Assist in training and mentoring underwriters
• Support team goals and client objectives through accurate risk assessment

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5-10 years of group insurance underwriting experience
• Mastery of disability products and reinsurance process
• Demonstrated knowledge of industry trends and marketplace dynamics
• Strong math aptitude and mentoring/coaching skills
• Proficiency in PC environment and MS Word, Excel, and email systems
