Senior Underwriting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Underwriting Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Continuing maintenance and growth of underwriting strength
• Managing relationships with various customers
• Contributing to the development and implementation of underwriting best practices

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of Life underwriting experience
• AALU or FALU designation preferred. ACS designation is an asset
• Expert knowledge of underwriting principles, reinsurance marketplace, and insurance contract law
• Ability to influence and negotiate in positive ways with strong people skills
• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience
