Senior Underwriting Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Director of Underwriting to join their Risk team and lead a team of underwriting analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mentor, lead, and develop a team of Vetting, Underwriting, and Quality Assurance Managers
• Analyze, review, and decision deals involving high loss exposure, industry, and/or risk tier
• Ensure compliance with AML and regulatory policies while maintaining a risk-based approach

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience within an onboarding function involving credit risk management, fraud management, and/or AML compliance
• 3+ years of leadership experience, managing, training, and developing a team (or teams) of professionals
• Certification in Risk and/or compliance (CRMP, CAMS, CAFP, CRCM)
• Previous experience in FinTech, particularly payments
