Job Summary
Supporting the Director of Underwriting Strategy, the full-time Senior Underwriting Strategy Analyst will drive portfolio performance, optimize underwriting strategies, and enhance operational efficiency while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and execute underwriting strategies aligned with growth and profitability goals
- Conduct advanced data analysis to identify drivers of loss and profitability, providing actionable insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align strategy and improve underwriting processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in underwriting, underwriting strategy, or analytics within the insurance industry
- Strong understanding of underwriting principles and pricing dynamics
- Advanced analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel, SQL, and familiarity with Tableau/Power BI
- Ability to translate complex data into strategic business recommendations
