Senior UNIX/Linux System Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the management of UNIX/Linux infrastructure, the full-time Senior UNIX/Linux System Engineer will ensure secure and compliant operations of Red Hat Linux systems across various environments while overseeing incident response and advanced troubleshooting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration and lifecycle support of UNIX/Linux server infrastructure, focusing on Red Hat Linux environments
• Lead the design, implementation, and operationalization of UNIX/Linux solutions, ensuring alignment with SEC standards
• Oversee incident management activities, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to enhance service reliability

Required qualifications

• U.S. citizenship with no dual citizenship allowed
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in UNIX/Linux system administration
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience in leading UNIX/Linux operations and incident management in virtualized environments
