Senior Urban Planner

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Urban Planner to lead and support sustainability projects in urban planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive plans addressing sustainability, land use, and public infrastructure
• Conduct research and analyze data to inform planning decisions and ensure compliance with regulations
• Facilitate community engagement and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Science, Geography, Public Administration, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in environmental planning, sustainability, or related disciplines
• Certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) is preferred
• Knowledge of zoning laws, land use regulations, and urban development processes
• Experience in environmental sustainability and community engagement is a plus
