Senior User Experience Researcher

Job Summary

To support a growing UX research team, the full-time Senior User Experience Researcher will independently scope and execute research studies, focusing on both strategic discovery and customer experience metrics in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Independently scope and execute various research studies, choosing appropriate methods to balance rigor and speed
• Synthesize insights across research sessions to identify root causes and motivations, and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional partners
• Contribute to team practice by sharing frameworks, mentoring junior researchers, and building trusted relationships with product and design partners

Required qualifications

• 4-6 years of UX research experience, including both consultancy and in-house product work
• Proficiency in qualitative research methods, with growing comfort in quantitative approaches
• Ability to independently scope studies and choose methods that fit the research question
• Strong communication skills, capable of presenting complex insights to stakeholders effectively
• Curiosity about home ownership and improvement, with an interest in AI-assisted research workflows
