Senior User Researcher

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior User Researcher, the successful candidate will influence the design of features and programs that enhance the customer shopping experience for Amazon Devices, utilizing a mix of ad-hoc and recurring research studies in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with UX Designers, Product teams, and other researchers to identify and prioritize research opportunities
• Translate research needs into actionable learning plans that align with business strategy
• Manage user research studies, overseeing all aspects from design to reporting and activation

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact
• Hands-on experience with various research methodologies, including field research and user testing
• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
• Experience with all aspects of research, including study design, moderation, and analysis
• Portfolio demonstrating past research work and deliverables
