Senior User Researcher

Job Summary

To support an upcoming federal contract, the full-time Senior User Researcher will lead user research studies, ensuring methodological rigor and mentoring team members while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, execution, analysis, and reporting of user research studies across the full research lifecycle
• Recommend and defend appropriate research methodologies and study designs based on program goals and constraints
• Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product teams, designers, and policymakers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Human-Computer Interaction, User Experience, or Psychology; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of eight years of professional experience conducting user research for digital products or services
• Demonstrated command of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
• Hands-on experience conducting usability and accessibility evaluations against recognized standards
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and consent to a full background check due to federal contract requirements
